As many of you know, in November of 2008, we lost our 25 year old daughter, Lisabet, to breast cancer after a valiant 3 year battle. Before this relentless disease overwhelmed her, Lisabet founded the Lisabet Anna Buesing Foundation in an effort to help other young women fighting breast cancer. You will find a selection of candy bars next to the registers at Pretty Crafty and at Garlic Knots Pizzeria and Italian Restaurant, 3941 Soco Road in Maggie Valley. All proceeds from the sales of these candy bars will be donated directly to women fighting breast cancer via the Lisabet Anna Buesing Foundation. Breast Cancer will affect 1 in 7 women during the course of their lives. Chances are, you already know someone who has been affected by this disease. These numbers are just unacceptable! We, Lisabet's family & friends, would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation for your support. These women truly need our help as they fight for their lives. We understand that crafters are very tactile people. For lack of a better word, we like to touch stuff!
